Four volunteers of the Cockroach Janta Party from Telangana were detained in Bhopal on Thursday ahead of a planned protest in Delhi on October 10, according to the party.
The party identified the volunteers as Stanley, Rangasai, Rajesh and Venky. It said they were travelling on a Delhi-bound train when security personnel boarded their coach during a scheduled halt in Bhopal and asked them to deboard.
No further details were immediately available about the reason for their detention. It was also not clear whether they had been released.
