Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to contest the next assembly election from Ayodhya. He made the remarks while speaking about the temple town’s development.
Akhilesh promised to accelerate the growth of Ayodhya if his party comes to power. He also alleged that there has been rampant demolition in the name of development under the BJP’s watch.
His comments come as political parties continue to position themselves ahead of the assembly election battle in Uttar Pradesh.
