A portion of a building collapsed in Delhi’s Seemapuri area on Tuesday afternoon, with officials saying a few people may be trapped under the debris.
The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call about the collapse at 3.30 p.m. and immediately rushed fire tenders to the spot, a DFS officer said.
Rescue efforts were underway at the site, and the exact extent of damage and possible casualties was not immediately known.
