The Telangana People’s Front (TPF) has written to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, seeking three urgent interventions in the state’s education sector. The group has called for comprehensive strengthening of existing government schools.
TPF also demanded that at least 18% of the state budget be allocated to education. In addition, it sought the setting up of an independent Fee Regulatory Commission.
The representation comes as the organisation presses for measures it says are needed to improve access and oversight in education. No official response from the state government was mentioned in the input.
