Commuters have said that problems in Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus services continue despite surprise checks by the Transport Minister. Passengers reported that some buses are still skipping designated stops and that crew behaviour remains rude in some cases.

According to the commuters, the complaints are ongoing even after the minister’s inspections were intended to improve service standards. The concerns mainly relate to stop adherence and conduct of bus staff.

At the same time, passengers said the increased use of digital payments has reduced the earlier inconvenience caused by lack of change. However, they added that other service issues remain unresolved.
