A survey in Telangana’s Kodangal constituency has found that the breakfast scheme introduced in schools this academic year has helped increase enrolment and attendance, according to Third Vision Research and Services.

The survey reported that schools saw fewer complaints of hunger among students and noted that children appeared to have more energy throughout the day after the scheme began.

It also identified improved student participation as a key outcome in the constituency, reflecting the impact of the breakfast programme on school routine.

Third Vision Research and Services conducted the survey in Kodangal and said the breakfast scheme emerged as a major factor in the positive changes observed in Telangana schools.
