Wayanad is aiming to become the country’s first e-waste-free model district by November 1, with the district administration stepping up collection efforts ahead of the deadline.
In the first phase of the drive, 31 tonnes of e-waste were collected from government offices in Wayanad.
Agriculture Minister T. Siddique said the participation of every household and private establishment is essential to achieving the target.
