The United States has suspended Microsoft, Adobe and several other major technology companies from the PERM green card programme, according to an announcement from Labour Secretary Keith Sonderling.
Sonderling said some of the world’s largest IT firms would also be suspended from the programme, including Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and Capgemini.
The move affects a key pathway used in the US employment-based green card process. No further details on the duration or reasons for the suspension were provided in the statement.
