The railways has urged passengers not to play audio or video on speaker mode while travelling on trains, saying it wants to ensure a peaceful journey for fellow travellers.
The advisory comes as part of efforts to maintain discipline and comfort inside coaches, where loud sound can disturb other passengers.
Railway authorities have warned that action may be taken against those who ignore the guidance and continue using speakers in a way that causes inconvenience to others.
