Delhi Police have intensified security arrangements ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party’s proposed protest on October 10 in New Delhi. Officials are monitoring mobilisation efforts and reviewing travel and transport arrangements as part of the security plan.
Police have deployed thousands of personnel across the New Delhi district, with extra security in place around Jantar Mantar and nearby areas. No formal permission has been granted for the proposed demonstration so far, officials said.
As part of the broader law-and-order strategy, police have also coordinated with educational institutions, accommodation providers and transport operators. The measures come as authorities seek to keep a close watch on bus bookings and other travel plans linked to the protest.
