Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday alleged that the BJP was trying to discredit the opposition for raising questions over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Gehlot said that instead of answering the opposition’s concerns, Nitin Nabin was acting like a lawyer for the Election Commission.
The comments came amid opposition scrutiny of the SIR process, with Gehlot accusing the ruling party of avoiding direct replies to the concerns raised.
